Microneedling is a treatment to encourage collagen production by taking advantage of the body’s natural healing response. The purpose of this treatment is to generate new collagen, skin tissue and to smooth, firm, and tone skin. Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may reduce the appearance of acne, scars, dark spots, wrinkles, and large pores. Each session may last about 45 minutes. You may need multiple treatments for the best results.
After the procedure the skin will be red and flushed in appearance similar to a moderate sunburn. You will experience a feeling of tightness and possibly a mild irritation of the skin that will diminish over the next few hours. It is not common but occasionally mild bruising can occur depending on the skin depth of needles being used. Peeling and dry skin is common for up to a week after the treatment as cells are turning over. Very rarely clients will experience minimal scabbing.
A fine needle will be introduced through the skin. This will combine active ingredients to go deeply into the dermis. Normally, 3-6 treatments are required to see the result.

Skin Health Services Cancellation Policy
A deposit of £25 is required to secure treatment date. This deposit is non refundable but will be deducted from the final balance. CANCELLATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL DATE OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. The £25 deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment, as per our cancellation policy. However, if you wish to reschedule or cancel outside of the 48-hour period we will happily transfer your appointment.
